With Flyer, the watchword is welcome
Flyer is a system of suspended elements that includes countertops to support the washbasins and faucets, which can be made of Cristalplant®, Corian®, stone, marble, granite, Dekton® or MDI and solid wood, and drawer cabinets with wood finish, Selection wood, solid wood front or lacquered. The basin sink rests with light grace on the solid wood shelf, while the steel faucets and plumbing left exposed exhibit a deliberate contrast. There are no handles, as the opening is push-pull.
The juxtaposition of different materials seems stolen from an elegant living room, while the wooden surfaces provide visual and tactile pleasure, making the room warm and inviting. The craftsmanship of workmanship and the perfection given by industrialization collaborate with the tactility of materials and the optimization of design, where each line declares its intent and function.
The perfect lines of Free Zone
Building on the excellence that distinguishes the Boffi|DePadova Research and Development Department, the Free Zone bathroom furniture program is packed with a multitude of possible configurations among elements, materials, colors and finishes. This is a modular system of suspended, handle-less base units in which the opening is via a handle strip with essential lines hidden between the top and the upper side of the front.
Compatible with a wide selection of sinks, from countertop to built-in, the bases can be made in all materials in the Boffi collection, from lacquers to woods, stones to composites, glass to metals. Particularly interesting are the solid wood finishes Freehand, achieved by irregular horizontal millings on horizontal grain, and Shades characterized by vertical engravings that give this ribbed surface a vague art deco flavor.
Upper: nothing is out of place
A boiserie with shelves, mirrors and backdrops on an aluminum supporting structure, a collection of base units to support the washbasins and open storage units to be installed on the wall or resting on a countertop: Upper transforms every wall into a perfectly organized system, offering total freedom of expression.
Suspended base units are distinguished by fronts with a hidden opening handle at the bottom and 45-degree beveled sides: when closed, the thickness of the top becomes invisible.
The sartorial approach of a designer of Piero Lissoni ‘s caliber is manifested in the Upper collection through the mastery of the study of detail and the rigorous elegance of the lines.
Designer accessories
Boffi’s Catalogue dedicated to bathroom accessories is full of simple, refined and iconic proposals. Starting with the Blade series designed by Gianluigi Landoni, which is a complete collection of accessories to enrich the bathroom space with functionality and minimal elegance: various soap dishes, hanging glass, shelves, roll holders, hooks, holders and small containers. The design is rigorous and carefully calibrated, the implementation is perfectly thought out, and the materials are of excellent quality, in keeping with the brand’s unmistakable style. The elements are made of 4 mm thick stainless steel sheet, with a brushed or polished finish and characterized by a sharp central cut that thus declares the strong personality of the design.
Designer Giulio Gianturco’s Minimal line also includes all kinds of accessories, from towel racks to soap dishes, from mirrors to lamps, from roll holders to toilet brush, and even glass and steel shelves, towel racks, a lectern and more. The material is still satin-finished stainless steel, which boasts such wear resistance that it remains unchanged and always perfect. The rounded geometries blend perfectly with the more austere tone of the line.
For a bathroom with undeniable visual impact and instantly recognizable character, it is impossible not to mention Pipe, the series designed in 2000 by Marcel Wanders for Boffi. Large and small tubes with a strong and minimal line are exposed to view in their nakedness, as in an industrial plant. The handle painted with red epoxy powder resembles a stylized flower and gives a sign of extreme functionality and disruptive vitality. The collection also includes a toilet roll holder, multi-purpose hooks for towels and robes, and a free-standing bath shower.
For those who like the natural touch typical of Japanese design there is Twig by Keiji Takeuchi, a series of accessories made of solid Iroko wood, white Cristalplant® tops, and supporting elements made of stainless steel with PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) treatment or painted
