The project on the Ligurian Riviera is a clear example of what the SAG’80 team can achieve, offering the client their expertise from design to execution.
The exterior location steals the show: a village among the most charming in Italy. The apartment, created by SAG’80, enjoys a sea view all year round, a pleasure that can’t be confined to just the short summer period.
For this reason, timeless pieces such as the Standard chairs designed by Jean Prouvé and produced by Vitra were chosen for the interior. Additionally, they avoided the cliché of typical seaside homes, which are often decorated in blue and white with anchors.
Here, every reference to the sea is sophisticated: the furnishings are straightforward, as a seafaring life demands; the color palette embraces earthy tones and shifts to those of the water; marine elements are present but reinterpreted in a contemporary way, such as the wallpaper in the single bedroom.
