One of the most sought-after models is the Moroso Fjord armchair: from a fragment of a shell, broken, smoothed by waves, Patricia Urquiola designs a collection of seating designed for the home and public spaces.
The Scandinavian influence, deducible already from the name, is clearly visible in the elongated cut on the backrest, evocative of the sharp inlets of the Nordic coasts.
The Moroso Fjord family consists of two other elements that seem to recall the natural cycle of an organic element. The high-backed armchair, as if smoothed by water, transforms into an armchair and then a stool/pouf.
Paired with this incredible armchair is another creation, also by Patricia Urquiola, the Bohemian model armchair.

The Big Easy collection, with its abundant, sculptural forms, comes from a steel armchair made in 1988, and demonstrates how a volume, as a simple form, can be translated, without undermining its design principles, through a reinterpretation of materials and production processes.
The Soft Big Easy armchair immediately gives a feeling of visual softness, while the fullness of its volumes and composition gives an instant image of comfort.
