A celebration of 1970s interiors not to be missed!
For Sag80 ‘sMDW18 event, an installation all dedicated to one of the golden moments of Italian design, the 1970s, will be organized.
The project involves a total immersion in a decade full of contradictions but also full of creativity and energy.
Interior design in this period enters a whirlwind of change: the desire to provoke, to use bright colors and extravagant shapes are the guidelines of 1970s interiors. Designers begin to study materials, surfaces, lighting, and the overall impact of the elements combined together in more detail.
These are also the years ofpersonal creative emancipation, every aspect of creativity is pushed to the limits, under the banner of the desire to break free from constraints and old customs to produce something more and more innovative, moving the limits of creativity further and further. To recreate this constellation of stimuli, design objects from the most prestigious brands such as Minotti, Cassina, Maxalto, Porta Romana Lighting and Maison Pinton will be displayed.
Sag80’sMDW18 event will celebrate every aspect of 1970s interiors creating a setup that will be a true journey through time. Fluorescent colors, carpeting, curvy lines, the music of the Bee Gees and Donna Summer all taken care of down to the last detail to relive unique years.
