Not the usual sea view home, but a collection of furnishings and materials that tell a story of a lifestyle.
The project in the Ligurian Riviera is a clear example of what the SAG’80 team is able to do, putting its expertise at the client’s disposal, from design to implementation.
The location outside is one that steals the show: a village among the most charming in Italy, and the apartment built by SAG’80 enjoys a year-round sea view, a pleasure impossible to relegate only to the brief summer period.
That is why, within it, they chose to include some timeless pieces such as the Standard chairs designed by Jean Prouvè and produced by Vitra but also not to fall into the cliché of all the same blue and white beach houses with anchors.
Here every reminder of the sea is sophisticated: the furnishings involve no frills, they are as stark as sea life requires; the chromatics embrace earthy colors and veer to those of water; marine elements are present but revisited in a contemporary way as with the single room wallpaper.
