tells its story through contemporary art. In the spaces of Via Boccaccio 4 and Via Boccaccio 11, it presents “Modulari,” new site-specific canvases by Rae Martini designed for the two refined showrooms symbolically united precisely by the Milanese artist’s works.
SAG’80 HOSTS NEW WORKS BY RAE MARTINI
SAG’80, a historic Milanese design showcase that has always stood out for its bespoke consulting services, announces its collaboration with Rae Martini for the Fuori Salone. Through unprecedented works of contemporary art, SAG’80 tells of its soul, which is expressed through two distinct identities, the stores, Via Boccaccio 4 and Boccaccio 11.
In an exhibition continuum, Rae Martini’s works will accompany the visitor to discover the world of SAG’80 from the showroom at Via Boccaccio 4, a showroom with a display character where, together with these artistic creations, the latest Arflex products that SAG’80 distributes exclusively in Milan stand out, to continue to Via Boccaccio 11, a showroom conceived as an apartment where the protagonists are the Arclinea and Maxalto collections.

In addition to the curated selection of furniture and accessories, icons of contemporary design from the leading brands of Made in Italy and beyond, the strength of SAG’80 consists in fact precisely in its ability to support the customer, whether private or professional such as architects and interior designers, through a 360-degree tailor-made consulting service to design home spaces and more, always unique and to one’s own measure.
Continuously looking for new trends and with a desire to offer novel experiences to its clients and stakeholders, SAG’80 wanted to give space to Rae Martini’s contemporary, disruptive, eclectic style. An internationally active Milanese artist, Martini analyzes and researches through his works, physical and aesthetic interactions between different media giving life to décollage-painting, (de)layered works that are the result of an elaborate creative process matured through three decades of experience in the combined use of materials, paper, enamel, tar, cement and solvent.
