In the conception of

, in line with the demands and expectations of contemporary customers, the bathroom is not reduced to a purely functional place, as it has long been.
Although usually brief moments, the bathroom should be able to put people at ease, predisposing them to carve out time for personal care and relaxation.
That is why even the modern bathroom, just like a kitchen or living room, cannot forgo luxurious design and refined materials, which are necessary to convey a sense of quietness and comfort that characterizes this environment, so as to give it a unique character and personality, on par with other domestic environments.
DESIGNER VICTOR VASILEV THE STORY
Among the prestigious collaborations that have enabled Boffi to become an internationally recognized brand is the one forged with Victor Vasilev, a Bulgarian designer born in 1974, who has made Italy his second home.
After moving to Israel during his teens, Vasilev in fact studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnic and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, but decided to settle in the city of Milan, where he opened his studio in 2004.
These steps are the prelude to partnerships with various companies, including Boffi itself, with which it has been working since 2012. The CTline columns designed for the Brianza home will win major awards, such as the Chicago Atheneaum of Design ‘Good Design Award’ in 2012 and the ADI Design Index in the following year.
A45 AND A45 COMPACT
Designed by Vasilev and produced in 2013, the A45 countertop washbasin series brings essentiality yet unique style to the bathroom interior, with the option of opting for a wall-hung version.
Devoid of an overflow and characterized by the inclination of the internal walls of the basin, A45 washbasins lend themselves to transforming any type of environment, more or less spacious, thanks to a discreet profile given by the rectangular shape and a contained depth.
For those who want to give an additional touch of exclusivity, given by the immense quality of stone, the sinks are also available in the A45 Stone version, in white Carrara marble, and in white Cristalplant®, a technological material made in Italy that, in addition to recalling stone with its matte, textured finish, is hygienic, scratch-resistant and recyclable.
If space is particularly tight, then, A45 compact further reduces the width of the basin, which can always be completed with an accessory top that fully covers part of the basin in length, allowing various accessories to be laid.
CTLINE THE CONTAINERS ELEGANCE AND UTILITY TOGETHER
Among the most popular creations by Vasilev for Boffi is CTline, a modular system of storage modules that unfolds vertically, much like those buildings in international metropolises that have served as inspiration for the Bulgarian designer.
In CTline, building volumes are ideally broken down into individual modules characterized by staggered planes and available in two heights, 1680 or 1260 millimeters, as well as various depths and widths.
The aim is to give the user maximum flexibility, while also stimulating his or her creativity to create a variety of compositions that can accommodate objects that add to an original urban setting.
The front that characterizes the different modules is positioned at an angle to the wall that houses them, creating an intriguing visual effect that partially hides the shelves and objects placed on them, revealing them instead when viewed from the open side.
