A design signed Dome for the new Arflex sofas
Dome Milano as part of the Fuorisalone 2018 event will create an unprecedented project to celebrate the new products presented for the occasion by Arflex.
The studio-showroom on St. Mark’s Street will be transformed into a cozy open space invaded by colorful moths in an eccentric pattern, bringing to life a backdrop of wood paneling with a vintage look but a strong contemporary impact. Thesurreal atmosphere will be shaped by a play of light and shadow that will lead visitors to discover the new products.
Within this refined and evocative atmosphere, new Arflex sofa models for living will be presented, such as the Cradle set designed by Neri&Hu, which plays and experiments with the possible combinations of the triangle shape while remaining in the heritage of the Italian design tradition. New products designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, Luca Nichetto and Studio Asaï will also be presented.
In addition to the new models, the 50th anniversary of an icon of the company will be celebrated: the Strips sofa by Boeri, which will be declined in its traditional living and sleeping versions.
It will complete the striking design conceived by Dome Milano other exclusive products that will create a refined decor. The living concept of open space will be fully celebrated thanks in part to the use of Convivium designed by Arclinea, where of the kitchen seamlessly transforms into the living area.
