From the beginning, the company was established by its virtuous spirit: ar-flex stands for flexible furniture, and its founders, together with a young Marco Zanuso, launched into experimentation, introducing foam rubber and elastic fabrics into furniture production.

To get a clearer idea of the caliber of Arflex’s signature products just name a few names; over the years Franco Albini, B.B.P.R, Cini Boeri up to Jean Nouvel and Luca Nichetto have designed for the company.
In addition to big names, there is also great substance, and the products speak for themselves: the Fiorenza armchair by Albini becomes a symbol of the potential of foam rubber, and the Elettra sofa by B.B.P.R is among the first cases of production of furniture for the office and common spaces.
